Marketplace Setup

Spaces starts with the marketplace organization. This is where an operator prepares a co-working or marketplace business for customers.

Organization Entry

Open your marketplace organization when you need to manage public selling, operator bookings, products, or payment setup.

If you cannot see the organization, check that you signed in with the right account and have the right operator access.

Add A Marketplace Organization

Use the add-marketplace flow when you need to create a marketplace organization. This is different from creating a private Teams organization.

Admin And Setup Pages

Admin and setup pages control organization-level marketplace behavior. Use them carefully because they can affect what customers see.

Marketplace setup may include public profile information, selling readiness, and other operator-owned settings.

Microsoft Teams Marketplace Setup

Spaces also has Microsoft Teams routes for operator workflows. They help operators work from Microsoft Teams when the integration is enabled.

Expected Result

After setup, the organization should be ready for locations, resources, products, bookings, payments, and customer-facing marketplace work.

When To Use Another App

Use Customer Help to book as a customer. Use Teams Help to manage private organization work that is not sold on the marketplace.

Marketplace Setup Checklist

Before customers can use your marketplace, check:

  • organization name and public identity
  • public location details
  • products that customers can understand
  • availability for the resources you want to sell
  • payment setup where required
  • refund and cancellation expectations
  • support contact or process
  • whether integrations are needed

Do not publish a product until the related location and resource setup are clear.
